Steps for Applying for Residential Roof Solar Panels
- Fill out Miscellaneous Building Application
- Provide roof load for the structure
- Provide installation documents
- Application will be reviewed within 3 Days
- If more information is needed the Building Department will contact applicant and request additional information
- If application is approved the Building Department will contact applicant to notify them
- Applicant can pay fee and pick up permit
- Applicant needs to call the Building Safety Department at (276) 385-1215 48 hours prior to schedule an inspection
